Three Pieces of Advice From Iconic Coaches

With the NBA playoffs in full swing, I thought I’d write a post about three pieces of advice from iconic coaches.

  1. Billy Donovan – “The real value and joy is what can be accomplished in a positive way when a group of players totally sacrifices and buys in and does something special that they know they can’t do by themselves.”
  2. Mike Krzyzewski – “Play because you love the game, not because of what you’ll get out of the game. And then give the game back what it deserves.”
  3. Tom Izzo – “A player-coached team is always better than a coach-coached team.”
